New York City’s jazz scene comes to Broadway, creating the feeling of an intimate club amidst the lights and sounds of Times Square.

Annette A. Aguilar is a San Francisco Nicaraguan jazz and rock drummer, percussionist, bandleader, producer, and educator based in New York City. StringBeans is Aguilar’s ten-piece ensemble that has been playing Latin and Brazilian jazz for more than 30 years.

The not-for-profit organization Jazz at Lincoln Center, dedicated to entertaining, enriching, and expanding a global community for jazz through performance, education, and advocacy, will take over Times Square to bring New York City’s jazz scene to Broadway. JALC will infuse the area with good vibrations, featuring some of the most talented emerging artists amidst the hustle and bustle of Times Square.
