March 3, 2016 | 2:00pm - 6:00pmDuffy Square at Broadway and 46th StreetAudience made the pavilion perform for Armory Arts Week. Residency at the Crossroads artists, Joshue Ott and Kenneth Kirschner, created an interactive audiovisual installation with Collective–LOK's Heart of Hearts, based on their Variant series of generative digital artworks. Using four LED arrays and four speakers arranged throughout the interior of the pavilion’s circle of mirrors, the engagement filled the space with intricately patterned sound and light. Taking specific advantage of the complex interplay of reflections within Collective–LOK’s installation, the piece was designed to engage with the chaotic sensory environment of Times Square through an intense and focused series of audiovisual interventions.Photographs courtesy of Michael Kubo.
