General Tips
- Our curb-cut sidewalks are wheelchair-friendly, particularly the Broadway plazas!
- Times Square is a popular destination, particularly during the summer and the month of December. However, if you would like to come at a quieter time, it is typically less crowded in the early morning and the late night.
- Per our pedestrian count data, the busiest pedestrian hours are typically 12pm – 2pm and 4pm – 7pm. The quietest hours are 1am – 6am and 10am – 11am during the workweek.
Seating
- There is public seating throughout the Broadway plazas from 42nd Street through 48th Street, and on the Paramount Plaza on the west side of Broadway between 50th and 51st Streets.
- There is also seating available in the mid-block passageways between 7th Ave and 6th Ave from 42nd to 40th Streets.
