Looking to make new connections with artists and activists? Interested in romance, new friends, new collaborators or comrades? This is Not a Date is for you, back by popular demand with a special Pride Edition for queer connection-making. LGBTQ+ folks are invited to see if sparks fly at this social mixer from Theatre of the Oppressed (T.O.)

Head to the TONYC office on June 22nd to play a selection of T.O. games, enjoy some light refreshments, and chat about what we want from our relationships of all kinds, before we break off into one-on-one pairings to get to know each other. It's like speed dating with less pressure and more Magritte.

You don't have to be single to attend! This event is for connection-making in all forms. All are welcome, including those with no T.O. experience.

For better matchmaking, registrants will be asked to complete a questionnaire emailed by the facilitators prior to attending.

COVID policy: For the safety of staff and attendees, masks are required until you have confirmed your negative COVID test result with a TONYC staff member. Staff and attendees must complete a rapid antigen or PCR test within 24 hours before the event, and bring a timestamped photo of the negative test result or email the timestamped photo to info@tonyc.nyc. If needed, COVID tests can be provided onsite. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early if planning to test onsite. Once you have confirmed your negative test result, masks are encouraged but not required.
