Food Kiosks Header

In the fall of 2011, the Alliance rolled out a series of food kiosks in the pedestrianized Broadway plazas to better serve of the residents, workers, and visitors of Times Square with a variety of quick dining options.

 


SnackboxSnackbox, opened by Jonathan Morr of Republic and Bond St., offers high quality American street food with a menu that includes hot dogs, pretzels, milkshakes, espresso, and a variety of baked goods. Snackbox is located at the Broadway Plaza between 46th and 47th Streets, with prices that range from $1.50 to $6. Make sure to check out the stand's unique design, with the entire setup contained within an easy-to-move shipping container designed by Monteal company MUVBOX.

 

 

 

 

 


NuchasNuchas, opened on the Broadway plaza between 44th and 45th Streets offers a delicious sampling of authentic empanadas and pastries baked fresh in the morning. It is the first storefront location for owner Ariel Barbouth, with prices set a $3 an empanada.

 

 

 

 

 


RickshawRickshaw, opened on the Broadway plaza between 42nd and 43rd Streets offers a top-notch array of dumplings made from natural and local ingredients. Rickshaw already has permanent locations in the Flatiron District and at 45th and Lexington, and a fleet of food trucks that have already made it a Midtown lunch favorite. Dumplings are priced at $6 for six.
